It sparks and clarifies thinking. There’s a few musings already that I would evolve and rewrite, but the initial writing planted the seed to process the problem.
Writing daily forces you to edit daily (my biggest nightmare from the book publishing process), which is the practice of being concise, cutting the fluff and getting a single message across.
Everyone should find their creative outlet; it may be writing, but it may also be painting, dancing, drawing, speaking, music, etc. Find it and harness it. Bring the muscle back to life. You owe it to yourself.
